Gloomhaven - Jaws of the Lion

Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion is a standalone adventure set before the events of Gloomhaven. It introduces four new playable characters — the Valrath Red Guard, Inox Hatchet, Human Voidwarden, and Quatryl Demolitionist — all of which can also be used in the original Gloomhaven game.

The game features 16 monster types, including new enemies and bosses, as well as a 25-scenario campaign in which heroes investigate a series of mysterious disappearances within the city. Are the Vermlings responsible, or is a far greater threat lurking in the shadows?

Designed as a more accessible entry point to the Gloomhaven universe, Jaws of the Lion streamlines setup by replacing map tiles with a scenario book featuring unique artwork for each mission. A simplified ruleset and a five-scenario tutorial help new players learn the game gradually while preserving the depth and tactical gameplay that made Gloomhaven a modern classic.
